2PE Heat-shrinkable pressure -sensitive adhesive sleeve is designed to protect oil &gas pipelines from corrosion.
First layer: modified pressure-sensitive adhesive from butyl rubber
Second layer: radiation cross-linked, high-density polyethylene, fiber-reinforced composite structure.
Feature:
— Suitable for the project of newly built pipe and in-service pipe
— Short preparation time; only need to remove the vapor in the surface of steel pipe, no demand for preheating
— There is no need for primer; only need to use a wire brush and abrasive tape to clean the surface of the steel pipe.
Application:
The 2PE heat shrink wrap is primarily used for the joints of steel pipelines, providing a reliable seal that prevents moisture and other corrosive substances from penetrating.
Installation: The installation process is straightforward and quick. Upon heating, the wrap shrinks radially, conforming tightly to the surface of the pipe, which enhances its protective capabilities.
