Viscoelastic Polymer Tapes are designed to prevent corrosion by bonding effectively to steel and both factory and field-applied pipeline coatings. It consists of polyiso-butylene(PIB). Non-toxic, cold-applied wrap coatings are prefabricated and based on pure homopolymer. This low-viscosity, non-crystalline, non-crosslinked (fully amorphous) compound provides excellent protection for pipelines.

Application:
Viscoelastic materials are effective for sealing and corrosion protection in valves, pipes, vessels, field joints, fittings, marine facilities, offshore pipelines, offshore wind power devices, and for pipe repair and rehabilitation.
